For many years, IOMAS has been supported by two fundraising groups, called the Friends of IOMAS. One group is based in Douglas; the other in Ramsey. Each has links with the churches in their area – IOMAS was founded initially by the combined island churches.
Each Friends group supports the work of the agency (and more particularly fundraise for the Life Changes project).
The Douglas group hosts a May afternoon tea event, and a pre-Christmas fair each year, and every second year a major fundraising initiative.
The Ramsay group support us through two coffee mornings (in May and September) and through proceeds from their Lent lunches.
Individual churches on the island also support us with events on a more ad hoc basis.
Without their help, our Life Changes project would not be able to continue.
