Adopt an island lifestyle
The Isle of Man Adoption Service (IOMAS) is a registered charity and also a registered voluntary adoption agency.

IOMAS provides a public access point for information about adoption on the Isle of Man. IOMAS delivers all the adoption services on the Isle of Man, together with services to those living elsewhere connected to the island by adoption.
Interested in adopting?
There are many myths about who can and cannot adopt.

IOMAS currently work with single applicants, childless couples, families with children who are interested in adopting Manx children, children from elsewhere in the British Isles and from a number of countries overseas.

We also work with families where a step-parent wishes to adopt their partner’s child

IOMAS offers a range of support services to families with adopted children (both under and over the age of 18), to birth parents and relatives, and to adopted adults.

Services are tailored to fit each family or individual’s needs. These include support, individual and family counselling, advice and practical help in managing difficult relationships and behaviours, and negotiating contact arrangements.
